1st Hampton Guides, Kent, wrote to us to say that they use Traidcraft food at camp and that the hot chocolate is particularly popular. The girls also run a Traidcraft stall whenever they can. Four of the Guides have recently been awarded the Baden Powell Challenge badge which is the highest badge in the Guide section and one of the clauses they completed was to run a fair trade evening for the rest of the girls.

2nd A Giffnock Guides say that sampling Fairtrade chocolate is their favourite thing to do and is particularly useful in the “Go For It” badge. They have also run Traidcraft stalls at fundraising nights and are using Fairtrade BBQs at the district camp.

Amanda from Brockenhurst sold some Traidcraft goods on behalf of her Grandma, Fairtrader Shirely to help raise funds to attend the Scout Jamboree in Sweden in July.

Fair’s Fair in Barnstaple occasionally invite youth groups into their shop. Helen gives a short talk and has also created a quiz so to help them search for different types of products in the shop.
